Swansea Building Society Arena

Developed by Swansea Council, Swansea Building Society Arena is a 3,500-capacity indoor arena that’s a major part of the £135m Copr Bay phase one development in Swansea city centre.

Operated by the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), the Arena officially opened with comedian John Bishop in March 2022.

Over 241,000 people enjoyed ticketed events, conferences, exhibitions, banquets, graduations and creative learning events at the venue up to March 2023.

Stars to have taken to the stage at the arena include Jack Whitehall, Russell Howard, The Hollywood Vampires, Nothing But Thieves, Alice Cooper, Busted, Rhod Gilbert, Gladys Knight, and many other major artists.

The arena can be hired for a variety of events and has hosted the Comic and Gaming Convention, 4theRegion’s Green Economy and City Centre conferences, the national Marine Energy Wales conference, the ATG Tech Forum and Swansea Bay Business Club’s Beaujolais Day celebrations.

The Arena has also been used by Swansea University and University of Wales Trinity Saint David as a venue for their student graduation ceremonies.
