This programme is made up of three elements which will drive economic development and growth in Swansea.

  • Swansea Building Society Arena, located in the city centre and delivered by Swansea Council
  • The 71/72 Kingsway office development in the city centre, delivered by Swansea Council
  • The Innovation Matrix and Innovation Prescient schemes at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David's (UWTSD) SA1 waterfront campus 

The Swansea based programme will deliver:

  • 1,281 jobs
  • 10,684 sq. metre facility for digitally focussed businesses
  • Over 50 opportunities and space for graduate start-ups
  • Over 10,000 training weeks across the construction of Swansea Building Society Arena, 71/72 Kingsway and the Innovation Matrix
  • £669.8 million contribution to regional GVA

    Delivered by Swansea Council, this is a landmark 3,500 capacity indoor multipurpose arena suitable for concerts, events and exhibitions which is part of the £135m Copr Bay phase one district in Swansea city centre.

  • 71/72 Kingsway

    Delivered by Swansea Council, this is a modern office development in Swansea city centre that will provide space for 600 jobs in sectors like tech and digital.
