Pembroke Dock Infrastructure
Pembroke Dock Infrastructure (PDI)
Led by the Port of Milford Haven, PDI is reshaping the physical infrastructure of Pembroke Port to ensure maximum operational efficiencies for UK industry.
- 17,000 sqm of laydown space has been created, to allow the marine energy and Floating Offshore Wind (FLOW) industries and supply chain to assemble and manoeuvre large devices, vessels and infrastructure.
- A supersized slipway has been built which can launch and recover large marine energy devices and vessels.
- New office and workshop space have been constructed at Pembroke Port across four renovated Sunderland Hangar Annexes.
- Workboat pontoons near the existing ferry berth have been built, which will provide berthing for marine energy and FLOW operation and maintenance vessels.
